Yesterday I passed the OCJP 6 Exam. 71%, so not exactly top of the class, but self taught over many late evenings so very happy with the result. A big thank you to Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates for their excellent SCJP 6 book. I went through this book at least three times. Also the final essential preparation was covering a number of the sample exam papers in K&Bs book of sample papers.

Congratulations on passing the exam !!
I am new in java and am planning to certify myself.
I am planning to do OCJP 6.
As of now i have started with Headfirst to understand the concepts and now am looking at reading the certification book by kathy Sierra.
Lot of people mentioned about writing lots of programs to get the concepts clear and would help in the exam.
What is your suggestion?
I want to give the exam in April.
