Hi,

I am new to Tapestry.I have created a sample tapestry applciation using SPINDLE plugin in eclipse.

The directory struture is as follows:

TapestryExample
src
context
WEB-INF
home.html
home.page
web.xml

I want to deply this application in TOMCAT.How do i do that? This web application has the WEB-INF in the conext directory.

Any pointers how to build and deploy this application so that my home.html can run in TOMCAT?

Context of web.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE web-app
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">;
<!-- generated by Spindle, http://spindle.sf.net -->

<web-app>
<display-name>TapestryExamples</display-name>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>TapestryExamples</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.apache.tapestry.ApplicationServlet</servlet-class>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>TapestryExamples</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/app</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>

Thanks in advance,
Saurabh

You probably want to create a WAR and copy that into the tomcat deployment folder.

the deployment of a tapestry application isn't much different from a normal web app
