Hi all-
Trying to learn Spring AOP and I can't get the simplest example to work. I'm using eclipse 3.2.2 with the Tomcat Plugin (Tomcat v 6) and Spring v 2.0.4 (with a struts app). I also tried it in Native Tomcat with the same (i.e. no) results.

Here's a snippet from my Spring-config:

As you can see I'm trying to intercept any public method. I've tried other flavors of pointcut expressions and get nothing.

<aop:config>
<aop:aspect ref="LoggingAspect">
<aop ointcut id="myCutLogging"
expression="execution(public * *(..))"/>
<aop:around pointcut-ref="myCutLogging" method="log"/>
</aop:aspect>
</aop:config>
