Thanks for the reply.

chapters 16 up to and including chapter 23 will be sufficient

However,I see that "Using Timer Objectives" and "Implementing Security" objectives for certification are not covered in the chapters up-to 16 and including chapter 23.
Please advise if your notes and OCP JavaEE 6 EJB Developer Study Notes by Ivan are sufficient for the same

I am not sure to what objectives you are referring but the chapters Timer Service (chapter 16) and Security Management (chapter 17) cover everything for the exam about those topics. Actually I can say that I didn't get any questions outside the specifications at all (well you should also be able to read and understand a given deployment descriptor)

I am referring to Enterprise JavaBeans 3.1, Final Release wherein Chapter 17 is Security Management and Chapter 16 is Enterprise Bean Environment.Below is the link for the specification:

http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/jcp/ejb-3.1-fr-eval-oth-JSpec/

Also,as per your initial response( as below) doesn't covers up Timer Service and Security Management .

chapters 16 up to and including chapter 23 will be sufficient.

Please advise If i am referring to old specification.

Sorry, my mistake, it is Security Management (chapter 17) and Timer Service (chapter 18).

Thanks Frits.

As you have advised to read

chapters 16 up to and including chapter 23, Security Management (chapter 17) and Timer Service (chapter 18)". will be sufficient

However,I don't see any OCPJBCD 6 Objectives related to Chapter 15 Support for Distributed Interoperability (EJB 3.1 Specification)

Please advise if chapter 15 needs to read as well and if yes, then are there any specific topics to be read from chapter 15.

The beginning of chapter 15 says it all:

This chapter describes the interoperability support for accessing an enterprise bean through the EJB 2.1 remote client view from clients distributed over a network, and the distributed interoperability requirements for invocations on enterprise beans from remote clients that are Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) components. Distributed Interoperability is not defined for the EJB 3.x remote client view.

You can safely skip this chapter

Frits
