Hi All ,

When first time class is loaded , class loader first check in it's cache ,if it is found then loads it else request is transferred to Parent class class loader.

My doubt is, In which part of memory class(class file) will be loaded ? Is this class loader cache is Heap space or is space in the JVM ?

Thanks in advance ..

Thanks Suzie ,Nice reference .

It is said that class loader checks it's cache first to check if it is already loaded there . Is this cache(memory ) is part of the space where Java is installed or it takes space out of it.

Kindly let us know if anyone has this idea..

No. Java is installed on disk. The JVM runs in memory and classes it loads are loaded into memory. Where they are stored is part of the heap.
