dynamic form in wicket

I would like to have a dynamic table i.e. columns/rows can be different at runtime. I have something like the following. However it crashes when it attempts to add the second item since "repeatCheckbox" has already been added. Can someone please point me in the right direction on how this is or should be done. Thank you all for your time.

ListView
public void populateItem(ListItem listItem) {
String repeatCheckbox[] = (String[])listItem.getModelObject();
  for(String checkbox: repeatCheckbox) {
   RepeatCheckPanel panel = new RepeatCheckPanel("repeatCheckbox",  ..);
   listItem.add(panel);
  }
 
<wicket  :panel>
<td><input type="checkbox" wicket:id="repeatCheckbox"/></td>
