May any one tell me how to handle exceptions thrown when rendering the view?

I have an excelview which may throw exception during getTemplateSource() [this method overrides the super class method] if the file is invalid. This is a framework called template method. whenever the exception is thrown, stack trace is displayed on page.

I want to handle the exception and render another view if any exception is thrown when rendering the view.

IS there any thing similar to 'HandlerExceptionResolver' which may be used?

Any idea?
