Dear sir,


How can i print asterisk symbol for fields that are mandatory in my page. Is it possible using jquery or javascript

Hi Sreela.

Like you would any other character. Just put a label with an asterisk in it.

By the way, JavaScript is not Java. They are two completely different languages.

but sir what i want is like this.... Name* ...where * mark appears in red color

Such can be easily achieved using CSS.

Unless there's something about the question you haven't mentioned yet, it seems that this question is about HTML/CSS, not about Java. I'll move it to a forum that's more appropriate.
