Hi all,

I had an following issue on some of web pages while accessing it,

com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException: Protocol violationDSRA0010E: SQL State = null, Error Code = 17,401
at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance0(Native Method)
at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance(NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.java:39)
at sun.reflect.DelegatingConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance(DelegatingConstructorAccessorImpl.java:27)

can anyone help on this issue?

Hi Ganesan,

Seems that this is a known issue with websphere datasources & DB2.
According to this resource Pretesting pooled connections to ensure validity you could configure websphere datasources to remove staled connections from the pool.
