Hello,

We can rename JSESSIONID in server or application level. Is it possible to configure a different session ID for every WAR in the EAR file?
If there are 5 web applications present in a EAR file, I don't prefer to share the same JESSIONID between all the five applications. Each WAR requires a different JSESSIONID. This configuration is possible in weblogic, but I am not able to find a similar one in Websphere.
Is it possible to configure in ibm-web-ext.xmi or ibm-web-bnd.xmi ?

Regards,
Raj

I don't know if you can change the cookie name. However, you can set the cookie path based on the URL of each application.

I got it working by web admin console via Applications > applicationName > Manage modules > select war > Session Management.

Thanks any way for looking into my problem

For my next feat, I will require a volunteer from the audience! Perhaps this tiny ad?
