Welcome Matt. Hope the book really helps me in "thinking in an object-oriented" way.

Welcome. What great timing! Last week I attended an alumni gathering for George Mason U's Volgenau School where I completed an MS in software engineering in '93. It got me thinking of stepping back from the minutiae and reacquainting myself with theoretical (or, at least, the theory|practice boundary). I'm looking forward to reading your book. I've also ordered a copy of Object-Oriented Design in Java by Stephen Gilbert and Bill McCarty, which you recommend in your book's intro (though I've been coding in Java for over a dozen years).
