I have created a multi-module maven project. How should i add it to my assembla SVN repository? do i need to add only the Parent Module or i also need to add the Child projects that are separately created in eclipse?

Since it is a multi-module project so eclipse creates a separate project for each module within the parent project. I have added the parent project to the repository. But i dont know if i have to add the child projects also separately. Where exactly would i need to add files or make changes, i.e. in the folders within the parent module or the seperate child projects created by Eclipse ?

Yes, you need to add the master module and all of the submodules to subversion. I suspect that in the directory structure (not in Eclipse) that the submodules are subdirectories under the master module - you will want to maintain that same directory structure in Subversion.
