I'm going to be there (August 5 to August 9) -- reply here if you are also attending and would like to meet up sometime.

It was a pretty good conference. Saw a lot of familiar faces: Linda Rising, Esther Derby, Gil Broza, Diana Larsen, Ron Jeffries, Bill Wake, David Hussman, Ellen Gottesdiener, Jean Tabaka, Jeff Sutherland, Scott Ambler. Also got to meet Simon Brown (spoke to him at breakfast), Tim Lister (shook his hand), Tim Ottinger (got a direct quote on an index card), James Newkirk (sat on the "red couch" with him and asked him a question on Agile Metrics), James Shore (attended his session on TDD with JavaScriipt). The Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center is HUGE. What a venue. Made lots of new acquaintances and actually got a lot of new ideas from the conference. It was well worth the trip. My only regret was that I didn't get to meet up with anyone from the Ranch.
