iReport...

Hi All,
Has anybody tinkered around with iReport (Jasper Reports Designer tool)? I am having a wierd problem that I don't seem to comprehend. When I change the Look and Feel from Metal to Windows, and I open 2 new documents, I get StackOverflowError while it is trying to maximize the document

I am not sure what's going on?
But I had a problem on Query report.
I want to generate a report like follows.

I'm also having issues with iReport and JasperReports, has anyone purchased the iReport guide or the JasperReports Ultimate guide. I bought both of them, not much help if you ask me. They don't have any practical examples, just some syntax and references to the demos that are included in the .zip files. I need to find out how to convert my reports output to a .rtf document, any hints?
