Hello Swathi,

I would recommend for a Fresher that it is better to start learning the broader discipline of Computer Science before getting stuck into any particular language. In the long run you will become a better Software Engineer for it.

There are even free online courses from very reputable sources: Stanford University: Computer Science 101

Enjoy yourself. And remember if you get stuck along the way then there'll be plenty of folks here on The Ranch willing to help you out.

The questions you should ask yourself is: "what is my passion?" and go for it. And I suggest not to ask others about your life decisions, you should have a clarity for yourself. Don't get me wrong

Good luck!

Its depend on you in which you are intrusted. In my point of view java is much better then .net.

Acetylsalicylic acid is aspirin. This could be handy too:
