No worries Campbell, if it's not in the right forum, I'm happy for it to be moved or deleted, it gets a little confusing with over a hundred sub-forums.

I have the Head First Java 2nd Edition, is this enough to start the 'drive' with until Just Java 6th Edition arrives from Amazon, and will that text suffice?

Hi Stuart,
Just the first couple so far!
I have recently been side tracked with pregnant fishies.....and like any good parent to be, read about 500 web pages worth of conflicting information on how to proceed.
A bit like programming I suppose, many ways to skin the cat, but only a few that wont get you lynched!
I shall be back on the horse shortly, currently proceeding through Just Java2.

Anyhow, if you have a Java query, place it in this forum ... we deserve a laugh and change of view, diversions from our long and seemingly endless treks

... and the good thing about parenthood is that it has been working for hundreds of thousands of years (sorry if this doesn't work out with your religous beliefs, I better cross out the "hundreds of", one moment), without books, the Internet or sometimes without parental advice - the one thing that is guaranteed: You will make mistakes, the kids will think you did everything wrong, no use trying to avoid it Just enjoy it, whatever happens!
