I mentioned my SQL query in jrxml file thru <querystring> tag. I called this jrxml file thru my java program. Java pgm does data source connection etc... How can i send my query result from jrxml file to java pgm.

Your question is somewhat abstract, why do u need to send the query results back to the java program.
Once after specfifying the query in <QueryString>, u need to pass the filename, connection object along with parameters if any to fillReportToFile()method like JasperFillManager.fillReportToFile(fileName, parameters, getConnection());

Do correct if i have understood the scenario wrong.

I have a plan to write my query in the <querystring>
tag in jrxml file. How can i pass my query result
from jrxml to my java file ???
