Understanding the use of stateFull session bean as Session facade

Hi,

Can we use stateFull session bean as Session facade if we can then what are the pros and cons for the non function Requirements.

I'm having trouble envisioning why a session facade would need state. It's traditional to use a stateless session bean for a session facade.
