Purple Mooseages are expected to be purple. Would you expect a white elephant to be purple?

Then again, messages are not an elephant. We can still change the color! Maybe dull down the color bit.

I, too, find the color disturbingly intensive. Whenever I'm on that page I want to get away from it ASAP.

Can you suggest a different shade of purple to change it to in RGB format.

I'm open to changing the color as long as it is a lighter shade of purple. We picked the current ones by playing with it until we found something that wasn't abrasive. Looks like more playing is in order. If you do the playing, it is more likely to happen.

If I may butt in with my own suggestions.



I'd apply the following styles to the header paragraph:

background-color:transparent;
border: 3px solid #6d5286;
color:#6d5286;
padding:1em;

Then, I'd change the background color of the table header to the #6d5286 color with white text.

And finally, I'd use #e8d4fb for the table background.
