So I'm working on a program that essentially, takes a screenshot, sends to to a vps via socket. I have a client and server set up.
The program runs just fine until I open a heavy full screen application, eg. a game. In this case when I alt tab to check the program it is either blacked out or transparent. It still responds it just doesn't function. From a bit of research I've seen similar situations caused by inefficient socket management.

I'm new to working with sockets in java and was hoping to have the code looked at and possibly grab some pointers to make it better. Thanks.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
