Should I use JDK 1.6 or JDK 1.7 for SCJP6?

FOR SCJP 6 WHICH JDK SHOULD I USE MEANS JDK 1.6 OR JDK 1.7.MEANS IS ANY DIFFERENCE IN COMPILATION ERROR CODE IN USING JDK 1.7 SINCE IT IS THE LATEST VERSION ???

Welcome to the Ranch. Please DON'T USE ALL-CAPS, BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE SHOUTING.

If you are going to do the exam for Java 6, then use JDK 6 - then you can be sure it will match exactly what the exam is about.

However, why do you want to do the exam for Java 6, instead of Java 7? Why not go for the current version?

If OP's goal is to be OCPJP7 then going through OCPJP6 -> OCPJP7 route (instead of OCAJP7 -> OCPJP 7) has one serious advantage
