I am currently working as a delphi developer with my 2 years experience nearing to be completed in august this year.I was trained in java,j2ee,struts and hibernate in my company .I need to switch job as we are being put into all such old technologies but not getting how to go ahead. As my first project only i landed in Delphi only. Please guide me as to how i should be approaching myself if i want to portray myself as java developer while attending interviews.

It may be helpful for you to attend college, with classes specializing in Java language. You can do this remotely, online.

Here is an example : http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-092-introduction-to-programming-in-java-january-iap-2010/
