Hi I want to make so when a external button (like this one: https://www.elfa.se/elfa3~se_sv/elfa/init.do?item=35-535-40&toc=20536) it run a code. I think I need a "USB Trigger" like this one: http://sensoriumembedded.com/productpages/usbtrigger/index.htm . I have no idea how to do this, does some one of you know?

I didn't ask Google Translate to turn that page into English for me, but it looks like the "button" you're talking about is a hardware device, right? If that is true, then you have to find out how it interfaces with a computer. USB is a likely method, in which case the device should come with a USB driver. And with documentation, hopefully.

But I don't see where Java comes into the picture.
