Hi, is there any stateful web services (@HttpSessionScope , @Stateful, HttpSession....) on the version 6 exam? It is covered in MZ's notes version 5 and Ivan's notes.
But in the version 6 exam objective, I don't see any topic related to that.

There are a lot of things not on the exam topics but still covered in the real exam. Just learn how to create a stateful jax-ws and jax-rs web service for the exam (and then forget about stateful web-services). Don't forget about the property you have to set in a Jax-ws client to enable maintain a session on the server side.

Frits

Himai/Frits,

Can we at all create stateful EJB implementing webservices? It looks impossible to. I think we can only have these:

1. Stateless EJB implementing WS
2. Singleton EJB implementing WS

Can anyone please confirm?

Correct, only a Stateless EJB or a Singleton EJB can implement a WS.
