on click hyperlink, display content under the hyperlink

Hi friends i am having medium knowledge to html css,

my problem is if i click the html hyper link page will displayed next page i used Html _Blank,_top,_parent,_self attributes.

I want to display html hyperlink and below hyper link i want display the href content page . like menu bar if click services those services will be displayed under the services in main area,

Please help me that sample code to achieve the task.

It sounds like you might be describing an iframe. That's when you display another page inside a part of your page.

I have knowledge on frames,framesets and how to use target frames.

with out using frames how can i display the content under the anchor or hyperlink to display the content in the same page only.
please help me

Sounds like you need Ajax to fetch the page fragment from the server, and then you'd insert the fragment into the DOM.

With jQuery (which you should use for this), you'd simply use a the .load() method which will handle both tasks.

That is exactly what I have given you. When someone posts an approach to take, please do some research before dismissing it out of hand.

To give you another prod forward, here is some example code:

$('#id-of-container-element').load('/url/to/page-fragment');

That will replace the contents of the container element with the page fragment returned as the response. jQuery must be loaded onto the page.
