Hii All,

I am facing problem with sharing session on weblogic server. I have two EAR--> EAR1 and EAR2.

In EAR2 i have two wars and I want to share the session between both the WAR's.

In EAR2 there is code for session sharing in weblogic-application.xml as follows-->

<wls:session-descriptor>
<wls:persistent-store-type>replicated_if_clustered</wls:persistent-store-type>
<wls:sharing-enabled>true</wls:sharing-enabled>
</wls:session-descriptor>

In EAR2--> application.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<application xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:application="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_5.xsd" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_5.xsd" id="Application_ID" version="5">
<module>
<web>
<web-uri>WAR1.war</web-uri>
<context-root>WAR1</context-root>
</web>
</module>
<module>
<web>
<web-uri>WAR2.war</web-uri>
<context-root>WAR2</context-root>
</web>
</module>
</application>

In EAR2 I am able to share the session. But my problem is that when any session created in EAR2 my session listener in EAR1 is getting called may be because both the EAR are in same cluster. Because of that I am not able to count proper session in EAR1 application.

I want that if any session created on EAR2 application it should not getting reflected in EAR1 web application listener.

Thanks for your comments in advance. Please reply....

You know it is dark times when the trees riot. I think this tiny ad is their leader:
