Hi Authors,
Greetings of the day! Welcome to the ranch!
One question:
Do you deal extensively with database transactions? I mean using Spring's @Transactional annotion?
And the various ISOLATION levels?
From whatever I have seen - usually authors mention this in passing - but I could not find any
exhaustive examples (do yourself and see - kind of stuff) anywhere...

Hi Atul,

Local and global transactions are covered in chapter 7 of the book. The chapter shows how you can use Spring JDBC module and Hibernate 4.x to interact with a database. Transaction isolation levels and @Transactional annotation are covered with examples in this chapter.
