Hi, I have an excel sheet which consists of an image in a particular cell. I want to read that image through java and insert it into database. How would I do it? Does POI support these kinds of operations? If no, are there any other third party tools which support it? Also, Can you please give me code snippet as how it will be done?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

I don't think POI can do this, but the documentation for jExcelApi states that it "Supports insertion and copying of images into spreadsheets".

Hi Ulf Dittmer,

I have gone through JExcel API, but it does not allow reading an image at cell level. Can you please give me any more suggestions?

Thanks a lot.
