Someone at work showed me this a week or two ago. I found the 'missile command' graphics kind of funny, but I wonder if this is actually real...I am skeptical you can track these in real-time, but on the other hand, I freely admit this is a field I know almost nothing about.

The Wordfence plugin for Wordpress has a similar graphic claiming to display active attacks. Not sure how accurate (real?) it is, but it encouraged me to block access to my website from Russia, which promptly reduced attacks on our site to virtually zero!
