Hello All ,
Today I have passed "Java EE 6
Java Persistence API Developer Certified Expert" exam with 94% score.
The performance report sent by Oracle after exam indicated that I have missed only three questions out of the total 64 questions.
Please find my history for this certification below :
1- I have started my study at 20-5-2014 , I have completed the exam today (3-8-2014)
2-3 hours average daily studying
2- I was not having any experience regarding the Persistence API.
3- I started reading the book Pro JPA 2, 2nd Edition(Chapters from 1-12 except chapter 11)
I can say that this book is enough to pass the exam and you don't need to read the spec JSR 317 for passing the exam (But it will great if you can read it)
4- I have read the book two times in row.
5- After reading the book I went to EnthuWare exam which I found very useful
The software contains four exams , I studied each one three times
Also I created some custom tests at Criteria API's and Packaging.
The software is great specially for the description on each question describe the correct and wrong options.
Also the support is fair enough admins take less than 24 hours to answer your question.
If you understand all the questions and answers , you will for sure pass the real exam.
Lastly , I need to take some rest then I will begin my Enterprise JavaBeans story.
Thanks
Ramy Diab.
