Hello Everyone

I am new in Python programming.At this moment i am looking for a python script which will take an image file as input.
I am using windows 7 pc and python 2.7.6 version.Can any body help out please ?

If you are new at Python programming (I think that means you want to do it) why not write it yourself? Google basic Python and any extra API's necessary and I'm sure you'll figure it out fast.

Thanks for the reply. I truly appreciate your quick answer. There is no doubt that I will try to code it myself. Currently I am going through the beautiful book named “Learn Python the Hard Way “ .So my knowledge level didn’t go that level yet. I hope soon I can code such program.Bye the way I can run basic python script from command prompt. That's why I thought it would be interesting if I can find that type of script.So that I can inspect the code and try to understand how that works.

Reading and writing images is no different from writing any other file. Do you want to do something specific?

So far i just wanted to select the image and show it in a window.That's what i am looking for.
