This is not only a Hibernate book. This book covers how to design and develop an entire Spring-Hibernate application. After you follow the book closely you will be able to design in other technologies like Java EE 7 (EJB, JPA, JAX-RS, JSF). You have to understand the design concepts that comes along this book.
