May i know the competency level on Spring, hibernate, Data modeling, Rest and TDD concept expecting from reader in order for smooth reading.

I assume you have some Java web development experience. Since the entire code has been given you should be able to follow the book. It is a good chance for developers to understand designing a complete web application with a relational database.
