JavaScript count down timer till the next hour

Hello! First of all JavaScript is not my native language, so the following task may be pretty easy.

I want to create a timer which will count down till the next hour. For example, the current time is 09:06:06. So, till the next hour there are 53:54 minutes still to go.

What I have:

So what's the problem? (Besides using single-character variable names that are meaningless?)
