Hey guys,

I saw on the Ivan's notes, a topic on XML in general, especially DTD and Schema.
Do I need to know anything about theses ?

Thanks !

Consider that knowledge as background knowledge. You need to be able to read XSD's and XML-files, although for the WSD6 exam, you probably won't get any question about XML itself.

If you can use DTD's and/or XSD-Schema's in respect with SOAP v1.1, WSDL v1.1 and Basic Profile v1.1 might be asked on the WSD 6 exam. Be sure that you read and study those specifications anyway.

You only need to understand XSD schema to read the WSDL files.
You won't need DTD.
In the exam, you won't have any questions on XML syntax. But you may have some questions about WSDL anatomy.
