Good Enitity bean demonstrated relationship with local interfaces

Hi BEA gurus,
I'm trying to follow Professional Java server programming J2EE 1.3 Edition. And frankly speaking I don't like the example represented by Cedric Beaust in chapter 16, showing one-to-one relationship using Order and Product entity beans.
More than that there are error in downloaded codes, and I always see complaints about exposing local interfaces through remote ones.
Does anyone tell me where do I have to go in order to clarify those issues. EJB 2.0 specification helps me very much, but the biggest issue - relational mapping must be done also in verdor dependable descriptor, such as weblogic-ejb.jar and weblogic-cmp-rdbms.jar.
As I see how Java and .NET approach to teach people through commercial editions, such as Wrox, the .NET is much smarter, unfortunately for J2EE world. And my opinion: either people dont understand CMP2.0 completely ( where is good examples???) or they trying to create overcomplicated aureole over CMP2.0 functionality, to get more ... You know what I meant...
So please help me, CMP GURUs. I really appreciate your time and assistance.
