Hello! i have a dude about OCA and OCP certificactions:

I have certificated OCA (standard) 7 SE exam in january 2014.

In this moment im looking for certificate OCP (professional) but i have 2 dudes:

1) If i have the OCA 7, can i take the exam for certificate direclty to OCP 8 ? (Or prior, i must to take and upgrade from OCA 7 to OCA 8)

2) The OCP exam (7 or 8) includes the topics or question for the OCA. I mean, i must to re-study the OCA topics for OCP exam or are total different questions?

Thanks very very much.

Rafael,
I don't think "dude" means what you think it does. In answer to your questions:

1) No. You have to take the OCP 7 since you took the OCA 7.

2) Kind of. The focus is different, but you are expected to know the OCA material since it builds.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
