I was googling and searching here and there to see whether there are any certifications available for ORM technology. I got two answers

1. OCEJPAD Exam from Oracle
2. Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Persistence

Now my queries are as follows based on following assumption

To be honest I am doing certification for 2 purposes , first it is best way to learn things and equally importantly second to impress recruiter and to let him know that I possess knowledge.

Query 1 : Which Certification I should Pick, I am already SCJP 1.6 ? Which is more popular ?
Query 2 : Best Book to buy and go like Kethy Siera in SCJP.

Looking Forward for Expert Opinions

Thanks and Warm Regards

If you ask me I would choose OCEJPAD from Oracle (as I don't even know the other one).

There are no study books like that one of SCJP for JPA, but you will find some nice books here: Scbcd-Links. (my personal advice: Pro JPA 2)

Study Oracle JPA exam ...
Read past JPA exam experiences in CodeRanch forum. For example- below mentioned is the URL to my past experience
