I don't understand your question. Are you asking how to run a program in Maven?

Hi
Yes indeed the project builder viz maven requires a pop.xml in its directory to talk with project.xml etc to execute. But here there is only maven.xml is available maven to attempt the build up work besides resolving work with its altered versions (in this maven.xml to the avilable/existing in the home directory ) etc the init work is not immediate
In this context my question is if there is any easier way to make its task without expensively downloading many files etc to make
maven work who happens to be real guru
Hope this suffices the clarification.
Thanks

What's in your maven.xml? What IDE are you using?

If you've never run Mane before, it's going to download lots of dependencies for Maven itself. That's how Maven works. if you have run Maven before, you might already have your dependencies and can write a pom.xml that runs the program locally.

Hi
Thanks
may i get helped & if I am tutored the exact usage of maven ie this ready reckonner(maven) who is so ambi-dexterous in his outputting ,at least to the extent of solving my hellomaven folder that contains project file only and i need a pop.xml as well.inlieu of my present one always failure builds.
I use jdk1.0_07 (oracle)for my java usage .I do not have maven.xml in the folderbut project.xml (mistakenly said mavn.xml.
Last but not the least a very nice standard pop.xml(like that of an iso certified) which i shall use for the immediate future

My tons of thanks if iam comprehended with for the the subject "hellomaven" task
