Hello Fellow Ranchers,

I am an instructor working at a non-profit organization. Our job is to provide IT technical and professional development training to undeserved youth ages 18-29 who have had barriers to sustaining full-time employment and/or access to higher education. The program is offered at completely no cost to the student. We also provide support in placement to paid internships and full-time employment along with a minimum 2 year post employment support.

We will soon be teaching Java SE 8 for the purpose of obtaining a certification that would also help with employment back into the tech industry.

My question here is, would anybody know how to get a hold of a bulk order of the Boyarsky and Selikoff, OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I study guides for a low cost (or even free???). I would like to provide resources to the students so that they can succeed and wanted to reach out to the community to see if anybody had an idea or could guide me. I've already exhausted options online through Amazon for example and the problem there is that there is not enough stock or the price tends to be high.

If anybody would like to know more about the organization I work for, send me a message and I'll get back to you!

Thank you for all your support.

Dedicated Instructor

Hello Karim, welcome to the Ranch!

Jeanne or Scott themselves would probably be best answering this question. There's a high chance one or both of them will see this thread so sit tight and be patient.

Karim,
Welcome to CodeRanch! Sorry for the delay. We didn't see this thread in the Ranch Office (which is for administrative questions about the ranch itself and I don't check all the time.) I've moved it to the cert forum for you.

Wiley has an instructor page. This lets you request an evaluation copy and presumably puts you in touch with a sales rep for instructors.
