I am using weblogic7.0, there is a problem when i am trying to reload a jsp page, after making modification to the same, the modification doesn't reflect, only the old page gets loaded, is it a problem with the cache or weblogic
This doesn't happen always, only occasionally, but everytime it happens i have to restart the server, which is a painful thing to do, so what could be the reason behind this, is there any configuration settings that i have to change.

See this document for an explanation of the jsp-descriptor element. If the pageCheckSeconds parameter is set to negative, JSPs won't be recompiled at all, otherwise the value defines the check interval in seconds.

Syed ,
I always noted a small time lag between refresh of a jsp page. As stated above check the pagecheckseconds parameter.
Also if you tweak with the system time for any reason then obviously the new jsp page will not be comiled as the timestamp will be older than that of the old file.

Hi,
If youre under development phase also make sure weblogic is started in development mode this should help solving the problem.
regards.
