Hi @ll,

I am trying to install

ubuntu-14.04.4-desktop-amd64.iso

from a USB with 8GB. I am set HDD as first option in the BIO.

It just start from Windows jumping into the second option of the BIO.

Any idea, please?

Can you list all the available options in your BIOS boot device order? In my laptop, for example, USB drive is listed as USB drive and HDD refers only to the internal drive.

Also how did you transfer the ISO to the drive? You can't just copy the ISO file - you need to use dd (in linux) or Win32DiskImager (in Windows).
