Hi all,

Just wanted to let you guys know I passed! 375/400
There's no score breakdown annoyingly enough so not sure what I dropped marks on, probably GUI or general design decisions.

Just a few details on my exam experience:
I downloaded the Bodgitt & Scarper 2.3.2 assignment at the start of January and submitted it mid-February. I sat the exam the week after I submitted the assignment. Oracle contacted me with my results within 3 days of taking the exam!

Some of my design decisions.
* Used a cache and wrote to disk on shutdown.
* Used RMI.
* Extended provided interface.
* Hardcoded schema information into data class.
* Kept locking and database access functionality in Data class; no Facade pattern.
* Used JDK8 new features where possible: streams & lamdbas.
* Made GUI minimal as possible: just a JTable to display results with search & booking functionality.
* Didn't use MVC pattern: overkill imho.
* Javadoced everything.

Thanks a lot for all the help and prompt replies to my posts guys. I wouldn't have been able to do so well without the help I got from this forum and it's users.
