Hi,

I have completed SCJP 5.0 and SCWCD 5.0 around 6 years back. Are these certifications enough to take OCMJEA exam or do I need to upgrade my existing certifications? Please suggest.

SCJP5.0, SCWCD5.0, OCEJPAD6, OCPJWSD6

There are no prereq certifications for OCMJEA. However, several years of design experience is recommended.

There is no and there was no a pre-req for architect exam.
However you need to take a training from Oracle to get certificate (at any time after you pass three parts).
