Append build number to JS sources in HTML during Maven build

I try to find the best way to append a build number parameter to JS sources in HTMLs during Maven build process. I have tried to do it by maven-war-plugin and buildnumber-maven-plugin, nevertheless, the result is unsuccessful -

Moreover, changed files must be already included in built WAR file.

I would be grateful for any propositions.
