Hi, from chapter 6 of JPA Pro 2nd edition, it says unsynchronized persistence context is introduced to JPA 2.1.
I assume this topic is not for this exam as I heard this exam is about JPA 2.0 instead.

Correct. Nothing of the JPA 2.1 specific topics will be on the JPA EE6 exam.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
