This week, we're delighted to have Luis Ayala helping to answer questions about two new books: Cybersecurity Lexicon and Cyber-Physical Attack Recovery Procedures: A Step-by-Step Preparation and Response Guide.

These two promotions starts Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 and will end on Friday, November 11th, 2016.

We'll be selecting a total of eight random winning posts (four posters for each promotion) in this forum to win a free copy of one of the books provided by the publisher, Apress.

Welcome Luis.  I was just reading the description of your latter book "Cyber-Physical Attack Recovery Procedures: A Step-by-Step Preparation and Response Guide" on Amazon.  It sounds very interesting and relevant to my interests.

I was wondering whether your detailed descriptions of SCADA attacks includes detection approaches ?
Also whether your procedures give consideration to alignment with ISO 27000 ?

many thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome.  Have not had my morning coffee yet but the pot is on the stove.  Soon as I figure out where I am supposed to go to respond to questions I will answer any questions and comments.

Lou Ayala, Recovering Architect.

Hi Lou, hope you've had your coffee because you have a bunch of questions already waiting in the Security forum
