Is it not possible to do AJAX enable page by xml configuration in Spring MVC?

I am trying to do AJAX enable jsp page in SpringMVC, i know only xml configuration. I searched in the internet for example, but i have not found any example so far that shows AJAX work with XML configuration. All of  the examples i found that are done by annotation based configuration. Now i want to know that is it not possible to do ajax enable jsp page by XML conflagration. My intention is that  i will save  data into the database and when i will press the save button, all the records of the database will be shown below.

Now, my question is that is it not possible use AJAX in XML based configuration ?
If yes, would any one provide an example.

You can do it, you just need to create a Controller and configure it using XML configuration. You can see some examples here or here...
