Hi, I have Rational application developer version 9.5, with websphere application server 8.5.5 and IBM Java SDK 7.1. I want to upgrade to java 8. So I downloaded the official version of RAD 9.6, WAS 8.5.5.10 and IBM Java SDK 8.0.3. But in the WAS 8.5.5.10 for RAD 9.6 download, I find only the liberty version so does RAD 9.6 support websphere application server traditional version 8.5.5.10 at all?
The trial version has full profile, but the official version from IBM passport advantage has only liberty.

The components I downloaded are:
RAD 9.6 (CNG6NML, CNG6PML, CNG6QML)
WAS 8.5.5.10 for RAD 9.6(CNG51ML)
IBM java sdk 8.0.3 for RAD 9.6(CNG50ML)

First, welcome to the ranch
You should be entitled to download a copy of Websphere 9 full stack from passport advantage for development purposes. Once installed, you should be able to define a new Websphere server in Rational server view.
You can also open a PMR and ask for help on IBM website.
