I passed OCAJP Java SE 8 with 94%. It was a wonderful journey and believe me it is worth taking it. It taught me concepts I was totally unaware of and proved why java is trending most in Industry.

Here is what I did for my preparation. I started preparing for it from 10th of January,2017.

BOOKS

I read the OCA book by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scot Selikoff.

Mock Exams

I practised the chapter-wise tests in the book by Jeanne Boyarsky and also the three practise exams in the Sybex Test Banks.

I also practised the mock exams by Enthuware. These are my performances in the mock exams:

Foundation Test : 80%

Test 1 : 83%

Test 2 : 66%

Test 3 : 86%

Test 4 : 89%

Test 5 : 81%

Test 6 : 84%

Last Day Test : 83%

OCJA Exam : 94%

Thanks, Jeanne and Scott for the incredible book and Coderanch for your support.

I got this tall by not having enough crisco in my diet as a kid. This ad looks like it had plenty of shortening:
